During the Forum there will be opportunities to attend
several site visits and a social event on 19 May 2025.
Spaces are limited and awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
Tour #1 - Promenades and Boulevards - greenery and public spaces of Wrocław.

Discover the highly complex infrastructure solutions that have been developed around Wrocław Old Town to combat the worsening effects of climate change, including severe Urban Heat Island effects and flooding from excessive water runoff during heavy rains.
Tour #2 - Krzycki Park.

At this green haven of the future, you will learn how making bold decisions to retreat from traditional and established infrastructure investments by prioritising community voices and the ecological can benefit both the local community and rainwater retention.
Tour #3 - Grow Green.
Morning of Monday 19 May, 3 hours, times TBC:
Visit the GrowGreen project demonstration site where Nature-based Solutions have increased the city's resilience to climate change by creating oases of greenery, enabling rainwater management, providing shelter from the heat, and reducing local temperatures.
Tour #4 - Wrocław City Farm.
Morning of Monday 19 May, 3 hours, times TBC:
An excursion to Wrocław City Farm which is the result of a highly innovative cooperation between several organisations. It combines sustainable food production with a circular policy and a social programme to produce high-quality crops and vegetables for the city’s nurseries.
Sessions during the Forum
During the Forum, there is a session titled ‘Workshop 1: Our greatest achievements’ at 11:30 – 12:45. Participants will split into 4 thematic groups to learn of the actions and experiences of Mission participants and the measures implemented by different cities and regions. We ask participants to select which group they wish to attend.

I understand that completing the registration form is not a confirmation of in-person attendance at the Forum. The organisers will do their best to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend, but this is subject to limited capacity. You will receive a confirmation email regarding your in-person attendance as quickly as possible. Please do not book travel and accommodation before receiving this confirmation. The link for online participation will be shared about a week before the forum.
